The city is under stress — heat waves, climate challenges, new forms of pressure. You feel the urgency to act. The why and what are already clear — what’s missing is the how. How do we move forward? How do we bring social innovation together with building and urban design?
This Socialtecture Think Tank in Venice is designed for those who want to expand their skills from architecture (tecture) toward the social dimension, and — most importantly — learn how to weave the two together. For three days, our guiding question will be: What would life do?
We will explore different challenges through "9 Socialtecture Principles of Life" — a powerful, almost magical model that simplifies the complex, sparks intuition, and opens unexpected ways of thinking.

Three days together in Venice, at the pulse of the Biennale:
Day 1: Biennale explorations and dialogue
Day 2: Socialtecture Think Tank working sessions
Day 3: Final presentations together with members of the curatorial team of the German Pavilion ("Stresstest")
What we deliver
Thinking: insight into Socialtecture and the 9 Socialtecture Principles of Life as a practical compass for urban development
Designing: hands-on application to the urgent theme of climate adaptation
Acting: concrete action pathways to be sent to the German Federal Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Building ("Bauministerin")

Introductory rate for this first Socialtecture Think Tank: €1,500,00
includes a Biennale ticket, a shared dinner, and lunch catering
excluding travel to and from the Socialtecture Think Tank in Venice, as well as accommodation (all self-organized)
