Socialtecture is a new profession. It centers around seeing, designing and making our built environment through the lens of life. It is more than putting people first and it goes far beyond developing vital places.
Socialtecture addresses everyone who is accountable for creating life-serving places in times of complexity and urgency: architects, urban designers, city administratives, city managers, politicians and all other professionals involved in the making of our habitats.
WHY SOCIALTECTURE
Socialtecture is founded on the belief that we already possess everything we need within ourselves to create environments that support and enrich life. This leads to urban beauty, sustainability and to common good. At the heart of Socialtecture are nine universal principles – the Socialtecture Principles of Life. They serves as an actionable compass steering us towards social impact by focusing on life's deepest priorities.
